History
Aspen Exploration Corporation was launched in Denver in 1980 with the objective of being involved in both oil and gas and minerals exploration and development. Since that time, Aspen has been involved in successful gold exploration and production projects in Alaska, uranium in Wyoming, and oil and gas production in the Rocky Mountain States and Texas. All of the non-California oil and gas production was sold in 1996 and currently the company is focusing attention on natural gas in the Sacramento Valley in California, where gas prices have recently been favorable. Looking forward to the immediate future, Aspen intends to pursue aggressively new oil and gas opportunities in California and elsewhere.
